The idea of an Omani-run travel company began in 2009, among friends from different regions of Oman who shared a passion for discovering their own country and wanted to share it with visitors. After two years of planning, travelling and meeting people to shape the company, Arab Adventurers was founded in 2012.

We are a team of Omanis working both in the office and as guides — the only tour operator in Oman with an entirely Omani staff.

Amur Al-Rawahi
CEO and Founder
Born in Oman, in the mountains near Muscat. Amur loves the desert and "his" mountains, and enjoys every minute he can spend outdoors. He knows a great deal about the history of his country and, of course, the traditions of the Bedouin tribes. He has worked in tourism for years, is highly experienced at leading groups, is dependable, and always has a smile on his face. In the evenings he likes to philosophise about life around the campfire. Amur Al-Rawahi founded Arab Adventurers in 2012, and speaks English and Italian.
